He has recently had a transfer request turned down.

Cooper told BBC Radio Kent: "I can't let all the players go. He hands me a letter, I didn't know what it was, but he's got two years left on his deal.

"I can't say "No problem Darius". He's one of the main assets of this club.

"He's got two years left on his contract and he's got to just knuckle down and play."
