Saturday marks the first 'Super-Saver' game of the season, with Watford coming up against Burnley.
Watford have began to gel, and the new players have began to integrate more into their new surroundings and get aquainted with the new structure at Vicarage Road.
Burnley have also seen many players both arrive and leave through the Turf Moor revolving door, but have enjoyed an indifferent start to the season.
Watford have picked up 4 points from a possible 9, which some would call good-going, whereas Burnley have picked up 3, but it can be argued that they have had the easier run.
Watford enjoyed a 3-1 win at Ninian Park last Friday evening, just 3 days after THAT draw at Plymouth. Before that, they lost 2-1 at Home to Promotion Candidates Preston. Burnley enjoyed an emphatitic 4-0 win over Coventry at Turf Moor. This will after a 2-1 defeat to Crewe, and a 2-1 home defeat to Sheffield United respectively.
All the signs are that this will be an open and enjoyable game. That unexplainable 7-4 awayday at Burnley springs to mind. Also, the Passion-filled F.A Cup Quarter Final is another in the list of enthralling Watford/Burnley encounters.
Watford look to be able to field quite a strong side, with Lloyd Doyley in contention for a return after a hip injury. Burnley do not have any injury worries ahead of Saturday.
Another 3 points would add more momentum to the season of Watford, that has began to stutter into life, while Burnley would not begrudge a win over The Hornets.
I can't really say which way this game will go, but what I can tell you is that you will not be disappointed. As Adrian Boothroyd said, the players have a duty to entertain you, but they also have a duty to win games.
Enjoy the game.
