I think this game is huge for our season, it is a must win in my eyes.
Yes it's only one game but we can't wait any longer for a first win....

Must be a good bet for 0-0.

Their defence hasn't been good so we should attack them ..

Will be quite the lions den I think - cold November Friday night away to a team who are also fighting for their lives. We got the stomach for that?

Nail on the head.!
Have we got the "cajones" to go there and put in a proper performance and have a right go.? My fear is that Flores will set us up for safety yet again with the onus on playi g on the break.
The most annoying thing is that in 3 games we have showed real class for a quarter of the games, so we can do it....
I have a horrible feeling... 1-0 to them, we have a right go for the last 20 minutes but can't make it count...
I reckon GP must nearly be at the point of regretting bringing Flores back..??

Looking forward to the pre-match show on Sky.
55 minutes of Liverpool / Man City, 2 mins of how Norwich need to tighten up, 2 mins of how sacking so many managers has finally caught up with us, quick advert, and it's live......

Norwich have a key player back from long term injury like Troy .

Probably score and be MOTM whilst Deeney sits on the bench next to Sarr looking glum ...

Or Deeney to come on and nick the winner - media world would go into overdrive if that happened .

Even Flores has admitted his job is under pressure or has he had enough and wants to leave like last time ?

Bit lucky to be ahead, and our standard first half injury.

Gray always plays better with Deeney over his shoulder.

That should help a little. We still are horrible at the back though.

Probably got away with having the man sent off as Norwich were poor in attack despite the best efforts of Hernandez .

Took our chances well and rode out the pressure pretty comfortably in hindsight !

Nice to get a win at last!

I was very impressed with our first 20 minutes, played hard and fast with good pressing. Defensively we fought well and were just OK, and we often got players forward.
Probably our best 90 minutes since the cup semi.?
The only thing that got on my nerves, esp the first half was the number of 50/50 challenges that Hughes pulled out of. He is a good passer but needs to toughen up.
Well done tonight team...

Not ideal results today with Newcastle and Everton winning .

West Ham in free fall though.

Spurs saved a point by VAR again !

Thing is, we're back amongst the lower pack, where all you need is to keep picking up points and even draws help.
Looking at our shape and tactics Friday, I think I am coming to terms with Flores ideas and I think the team are now understanding what he wants.? He doesn't want a staunch back 5 who sit back on the edge of our box all game, I think he wants things tight first but the move forward as a unit plus counter attacks.?
I feel a little more positive now, esp with 2 weeks to get the I jured players back. I would love to see Quina in alongside Capoue and Douc....

Not sure whether to believe this.? Joka got the heave ho from Fulham last year and it seems a bit early to turn on Flores (GP knew what he was getting bring Flores back).
I do wonder if one of GPS main beefs with managers is when they wont use the young talent they've brought in.? I am expecting Wilmot back at new year and I bet GP has an eye out for a manager that is good with coaching young players (we have loads)...

I suspect the article is nonsense.

I think that QSF and other clubs and managers will all tend to start playing more youngsters. The success Chelsea is having will be noticed and it seems today ManU is starting an even younger lineup. Clubs copy each other. The question will come down to do we have enough young players who really are good enough. I suspect the answer is no, simply due to the lack of numbers in our academy and youth setup, although there are a few worth some games.

I would have expected Dele-B to have had a chance by now, or is there an issue there..?

Could he not play for the Under 23s?

It's a bit like the Quina issue, used to be part of a Prem squad but never got a chance to play, so having come to us we can't really say OK boys off to the under 23s for another couple of years...
These guys think they are dropping down a level in order to get game time so they must be any managers nightmare tbh.

If we had a couple more wins under our belts they'd probably be getting more games. When you're where we are, jumping from and old safe lifeboat to a newer one likely seems a lot riskier.
