Penaranda has had legitimate injuries. By all reports he's matured greatly. Brought his mum over, training seriously, that sort of thing. Hopefully he heals up and get some good minutes.

Success of course doesn't seem to have crested the maturity curve yet.

Not so sure about that. Apparently he's been missing training and messing Malaga about.

I don't know what it is about some players (Balotelli and M.Richards also spring to mind) but they somehow just never seem able to "get over themselves" ? I guess it's the old "had the riches and acclamation far too early" (age and career) and start thinking they are the real deal and should be able to train and play exactly as they want to).
I can imagine how annoying some managers might be on tactics etc etc, but if I were earning £25k per week I would lick the teams boots clean after every match !
