Roy is already worried about how we will treat Zaha - including Harry the Hornet!

Can see this being a draw - they always get a result against us.

Same squad as last week - well no-one seems to be fit yet.

Finally got the better of Palace .

Great saves by Foster 1st half and we came good in the 2nd.

Surprised there wasn't a red card!

Capoue in hindsight was lucky not to be sent off but you'd think no Palace player had ever committed such a dangerous tackle before!

Ofcouse they are even more riled because it was on Zaha - their only really decent player .

Least MOTD talked about the game generally and Danny Murphy praised Kabasele a lot !

I was pleased to see us grind out result, that's what we had to change, the ability to play for 90 minutes and play a continuous style. I was a bit concerned with the way Palace dragged our midfield around with their speedy wingers but I guess that will happen when we play the likes of Hughes and Pereyra?
I get the impression we will improve over the season, OK Palace looked sharp in the first half but they play the old fashioned winger style which as we know doesn't always bring you goals. I think our style is now more akin to the top 6 clubs, so it's harder but more effective when it works. We will come unstuck now and then but it seems the days of heaving in loads of aimless high balls from the
wing are long gone...?

Speedy wingers are the antidote to our high press. Fortunately as you say, we were able to grind it out.
