Will be interesting to see if Gracia will go for wholesale changes in the cup. I think he should although it’s worrying that we have no other fit central midfielders unless he plays a defender in midfielder like he tried pre-season.

Presuming none of the returners can start maybe 4231

Gomes

Navarro mariappa Prodl Masina

Wilmot capoue

Femenia Hughes Sema
Success

Changes will probably be more conservative that this though. Who knows, deulofeu, Okaka and britos May be ready to start.

Yes, I doubt it will be that aggressive.
------------- Gomes
--- Femenia -- Prodl -- Kabasele -- Masina
------ Wilmot/Chalobah/Quina/Hughes -- Capoue
(yes I know Chalobah still gimpy, so probably Hughes or Wilmot - maybe even Doucoure, but I'd really rather he rest)
---Deulofeu --- Gray --- Success --- Sema

Yes, I know I drew it as a 4-2-4, but you blokes know what I meant. Just trying to keep that holding mid morass a bit more unclogged.

Maybe we’re the ‘London’ club about to sign Yaya Toure!

Gracia---> https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/2955e4c2-66f7-41fa-a03c-c4d9e45b4d13

I stand impressed. By both the performance and the manager.

How a league cup tie should be .

Comfortable win with new players doing well including a real cracker from Quina .

Great to see Chalobah back - good work for Success goal .

Was worried when Chalobah limped off but apparently only cramp. Phew. A good performance, great result and great away attendance. Also used the Park and ride as recommended, v easy, quick and only £5.50 for 2 of us. All in all a very pleasant evening.

Well impressed with that ! Gone the days of changing half the team for a cup match and playing utter dross ? Sounds like some decent performances and I for one was not expecting Challobah to play from the start so that is great news.... happy days....
