Quina

Must admit, I am pleased with Quina and the way Gracia handles him and others new players in our squad. For a 19 yo Quina looked pretty solid so it's great that we don't seem as likely to suffer so much from the odd injury or suspension.
My only concern is Challobah, he looks nothing like the player we bought and I don't think he will a starter for most of this season, maybe if he stays injury free and then has a good pre season next summer he will get back to his old self next season. A fit Chabs could have covered in case Doucoure leaves in January, but if he does leave we will need to have a combative replacement at the ready. (I guess GP will already be looking around already looking for his replacement?) shame but I feel sure a big offer will come in sooner rather than later...

I'm willing to wait on Chalobah. His knee injury was close to catastrophic. It can take players a full year to trust their bodies again after such an event. It's a very subconscious level thing. The more he plays the better he should get.

Not really fully fit is he and was always going to be tough against Man City for example.

If this ruling about less overseas players being allowed in the squad after Brexit comes in we will have to rely on the likes of Chalobah more so hopefully he will come good again.

Quina has done very well - nice touches and not afraid to get stuck in.

*If* that happens (the rule - which is in reality an FA thing and completely independent of Brexit, which itself is another *if* of epic proportions) then it will be a couple of years down the road anyway. That said, I can't imagine the Prem letting it happen.

Quite true on all accounts and the Premier league have said they will fight any ruling already.

As you say we may not even get a Brexit!

Totally agree that we should be patient with Challobah this season. I feel sure that Gracia and the medical team are just being firm with him to make sure he doesn't crash and burn or get injured in these early months, just hope he understands the careful approach whilst he gains fitness?

My main concern with Challobah is the potential departure of Doucoure. A fully fit Challobah alongside Capoue will be fine in Douc's absense, especially with Quina and Cleverly now available, but we just don't know how long it will take to get Chabs back to full fitness ? We need Douc to stay with us at least until the summer I reckon....
