It will be close. A month back this would have been another definite defeat but the team now seem to have gotten their mojo back, especially looking at the way we fought for those last 2 goals against AV with 10 men.
Winnable if we continue to improve but I think probably a draw..?

Good half - nice goal by GD.

Worried Dawson will get sent off though.

Another excellent win with 10 men!

Certainly has been a great Christmas period.

2 good goals and some very decent defending when under pressure.

I'm stunned with the incredible change of mindset and energy in the team.! I was certain we were going down 5 weeks ago and yet now we are back with a solid chance of staying up. Some of our play is brilliant, Sarr and GD really coming to form.
Please please Mr Pozzo - no more Spanish or Italian managers, they just don't get British football as proven by recent years (well not unless we start recruiting top players from man City) - I really hope NP stays with us for a few years now, maybe our new GT. OK so nobody will ever make it to that level but this guy has got something about him......

Appealing Kabasele red cad.

Hopefully FA won't add an extra match ban for a "frivolous appeal"

VAR has been a joke. Its not just the tight decisions or somebody's toe nail being just offside, but the VAR officials also ignore the directives.
I was certain that they originally stated that ANY handball leading to a goal, deliberate or not will render the goal disallowed. Also if the ball hits a ref ir has to be a drop goal. Since then there's been a few handball including Dele Ali against us, that were ignored, and I saw a goal last week where the ref set up a goal on the edge of the area.
VAR guys should have to explain their decisions in full after every game, otherwise things will never improve.!

They say the shoulder doesn't count it seems - explains why Lallana got away with it last week.

Saw that about the ref - again think the suggestion was he didn't touch it but agree that he blocked off a Sheff United player getting the ball.

Mind you it was against Man City at the Etihad...

Agreed on the offsides - so petty and unnecessary.
