2-1 Utd. We'll miss a hatful of chances.

Bit like last season then..

They seem to perform better away from home though so if we can keep it tight and counter attack well...

4-2 Utd I reckon.

Nice that we go into this with no pressure, but think they'll have too much for us

Looks like he's gone 4-2-3-1, but with Niang, Zarate and Holebas behind Troy. Interesting to see how Holebas does as a winger

Decent enough half. Good for the first 20 then faded

Holebas has let the game pass him by, I'd bring Success on

We've just given the ball away too easily. We have good forwards on if we can get some decent passing going.

I haven't noticed him throw himself on the floor holding his face?

Janmaat a waste of time on the left wing

Not clinical enough unfortunately. Had Capoue not given the ball away for the second then we may have made it more difficult for them.

Thought most of them had a decent game and its good to see us keeping the ball a bit more

Agreed. If he was to be brought on, bring him on in place of Cathcart - who clearly didn't have the pace for right back against this lot. Would have like to see Success earlier as well.

Cathcart's lack of pace was shown up against the Arse but the decided not to fully exploit it for some reason. He was always going to struggle today. I'd have gone with Janmaat every time.

Cleverley was again very good today. Couple of poor passes, but he is very brave on and off the ball.

Our improvement since he joined is no coincidence. Our midfield has been out of sync all season, seems to bring a bit more balance to the team. Still think that we might need a new combination there next season.
