I would take Ken Jackett as I think he would bring values missing at the moment. Plus he speaks ' west watford ' English !

f****** hope not! The tinker man. Same as that waste of space RDM. Can take an existing great squad and do a single season. Totally clueless second season. Walter for me

Would he accept a "Head Coach" role?

How would he do in one?

I think it's 90% media fabricated anyway.

Can't see it myself.
He has a fairly limp history here including when he was England manager, and I would say his Prem winning season last year was 90% down to inheriting a decent well drilled team, along with a couple of very good signings. Then he tinkered with it and the wheels came off this time around !! If he was given 45 m to spend on 3 players this summer then yes he might get us to a top 8 finish next year but it's a big gamble.
Wasn't there a rumour that WM fancies a return to series A ? Maybe he is in line for a job in Italy hence the Pozzos are lining us possible replacements with Ranieri just being one of them ?
