Not lost at home since their new manager came in.

All good runs have to end somewhere.

I think we are impossible to predict at the moment ?
My gut feeling is a 1-1 draw but if we can continue with the improvements going forward and players like Niang click on the day, then I think we can beat them ?
We look more solid at the back lately, Doucoure and Cleverly give us more in midfield, and the day that Success, Niang etc have a real blinder we could toast somebody on the run-in, especially now the pressure is off. (Or go half to sleep I guess ??)

We really should be winning this. They have a good home record but the pressure is all on them and if they don't get their noses in front, things could get nervy for them.

Walt needs to remind the players of our high turn over of playing staff and they need to impress if they want to be in the squad for next season.

An utterly spineless performance. On the odd occasion when Hull broke forward, our defence looked terrified. 1 man on the box to aim at for the first goal and noone marking him. Why stand 3 feet in front of him? And the 2nd was all our own doing. Utter terror.

But even without that, we barely managed a shot in the 2nd half. Until we play with a proper striker, you can expect more of that. Deeney is ok if he's playing behind a proper striker but we can't rely on him for goals. A poor performance from pretty much all of our offensive players who really need to step up to the plate and get on the score sheet once in a while.

I feel sorry for the poor buggers who traveled all that way.

WTF !!??
Talksport were saying before the game that out team were wandering around the pitch looking really laid back and like they were on a day out. I thought no they are just keeping cool waiting to unleash themselves later during the game. How wrong could I be !! I saw they had a man sent off but that was mid second half so I did wonder what was going on..... Seems the team really have mentally gone off on their hols already ? I am not pleased but I suppose you will often get this sort of display once you feel safe, but not good for those fans that travelled !!! We definitely won't be reaching 45 points this season !!!!

Walter will probably say the sending off affected us more as it meant we were the team who should be attacking..

Don't know if anyone else heard it, but 5Live were saying before the game that Wally had said he was finding it hard to inspire the players now they were safe, and he understood as he'd been a player himself. Maybe the fans shouldn't bother with the last few games if the players and staff can't be f*****.

Yeah I heard that as well. Not sure if it's been lost in translation.

Really Its up there with one of the most embarrassing Watford displays this century. We've had some absolute shockers but there's been mitigating circumstances, like crap players or superior opponents.

Today was a case of players turning up because they are contractually obliged to. The body language was appalling.

In the end it was a dead rubber match for us, but I fear for our goal difference come the end of the season given the fixtures we've got

Not sure about bottom but be down in the bottom part of the table.

As will the other 2 promoted sides.

They've got a bog standard mid table Championship side that's had a good season, they aren't going to strengthen much according to their chairman. They will be lambs to the slaughter

Well, each league position in the table is worth an extra million or more. Perhaps Gino should be doing the team talks.....
