West Brom

They seem pretty confident of a win - let's show them up and make it 4 out of 4.

Will have to be strong though

I honestly believe that this is the most difficult game so far (bar Man City),they are a very physical side and will bully us. A draw will be good and that is where my money is.

Start Deeney. Physical club, home town lad. He's angry. Could even play 2 up top.

No chance he'll play 2 up top, he's admitted earlier in the season he won't be using Gray and Deeney together.

Knowing Pulis, he'll have seen how we're playing and will set them up to play for a draw. Only change I'd make from last week is to start Pereyra ahead of Cleverley.

I guess Pulis will set them up defensively to try and catch us on the break, which is when we are usually most vunerable ? I would think we will need Britos back in for this game as they will lump plenty of balls in ?
Once again this result will probably depend on the effectiveness of our front three, in causing enough panic in their defence to keep them at bay.... probably a few goals in this one though.
A win would be great but a 2-2 draw is probably more likely....

Yep, they'll want to play on the break and we'll play Gray up front meaning that we won't be able to hold the ball up again. I know I'm whistling in the wind but Okaka has pace and the physical presence to be a target man. Probably not even in the match day sqaud though.

Good point, this might be a game to stick Okaka in, to rough their defence up a bit ? Mind you there's a good argument that this game is a good chance to stick TD up front for the same reason ? It wouldn't surprise me to see TD start tomorrow and bring Gray on for the last 20 minutes......
(Actually, what a frightening proposition to be able to throw on Pereyra and Gray for the last quarter !! Frightening for WB that is.!). :D

So Deeney starts instead of Gray. I'd rather it was Okaka but that was never going to happen. It's very much a Deeney kind of game - for the first hour at least.

No its poor from Gomes to get beaten from such a tight angle and then poor defending at a corner. Thats where we miss Prodl and Kaboul.

Might as well go 2 up top now. Gray and Deeney should cause some problems together. All this possession football is very nice but there is no space behind the defence so we are going nowhere with it.

Get Deeney off ASAP and get Gray on. He's barely moved an inch

Got what we deserved really. Shocking delivery and poor individual mistakes

Gomes needs dropping

Edit: what a lovely draw

I thought we played well for the most part. Giving a 2 goal head start to a team who just want to play spoiling tactics is playing into their hands. Effective but it must be miserable to watch that every week. Thank god for Richarlison and his late goals.

We have 2 problems. No effective striker and a lack of physical strength in certain areas. Prodl and Kaboul will add some muscle to the back line but the striker position is a real problem. Fortunately we are scoring goals from elsewhere.

Richarlison is absolutely farkin mint. I will be devastated when he's inevitably sold.

That draw felt like a win, and I was delighted to see the look on Pulis' face when we scored. Cunter

Another away day drama!

We deserved a draw at least against a side very content to hold on to what they had after some sloppy defending on our part.

Seemed to run out of ideas a bit at the end but kept going!

Deeney didn't really do much and most of our threat came down the right.

Well happy with that. As is Chabolah tweeting from his hospital bed.

Great squad we have now.

It truly is. I think Swansea and today proved how mentally strong Silva has made the side, with seemingly a great team spirit to go along with it.
