Can we continue our good attacking platy despite missing Hughes but manage to keep it tight at the back?

In some way its probably the best time for us to play them. We've just been tought a lesson in how not to play a side with quality in the final third, so hopefully we can put thing right at the back.

Hughes is a loss, but luckily we've got an even better player to take his place!

I reckon he'll start Deeney tomorrow, and get Rich and Pereyra to play off him

I'm happy for us to continue attacking even if it means we take a spanking. You've got to go out to try to win and entertain. We have plenty of pace at the back and our defending as a unit isn't bad but we have to be more organised when being counter attacked and not afraid to get an early hard tackle in to prevent someone running three quarters of the length of the pitch to score...or give away a free kick just outside the box! Thats what Behrami used to be very good at. Stopping the quick break early or at least slowing it down. We need some of that.

Yep, nail on head !
We have shown frailties at the back defending crosses, but our biggest weakness is the amount of times we give the ball away in midfield whilst on the attack- leading to a rapid counter attack which when playing the top teams will usually result in a goal conceded. I think this is why we are not so good with a back three, because we have no pace in any of the current CBs ?
Tottenham rely on Ali feeding Kane on the break for lots of goals so that is where we need to get tighter and also stop giving the ball away when we have 8 players commited.....

Bit frustrated not to win that, looked a clear handball to me.

Carrillo drove me absolutely mental

Frustrating not to win against 10 men but Spurs defended pretty well in all fairness.

Should have had a pen at the end though.

Doucourae once again excellent but maybe we were a bit sloppy at times and gave them too much room first half.

Ref poor overall - seemed to let the players get to him.

Carrillo is to be filed under 'generic lower mid table winger'. Looks the part, but ultimately does next to fark all than offer a warm body on the wing. Much the same as Amrabat.

Capoue likewise decided to be invisible for change. All that talent and no bravery to go with it.

Thought Doucoure and Cleverley deserve a lot of credit. They had to play some unbelievably intricate football to get out of the midfield congestion. Doucoure is the new Vieira

Deeney was alright, but his presence means we look long far too often. Granted though today that was really the only option at times today.

Pereyra has looked off colour all season, not helped by injury. Did little else but lose the ball all day. Hughes' creativity would have given them a lot to think about.

Everyone else was so so really. Pleasing point that was made far easier by the sending off. Such a shame the ref decided to ignore what was a blatant handball at the end

Yes - we did seem to be less effective in attack but as I say Spurs defended well.

Maybe could have done with Gray on earlier - give them something more to think about as the likes of Pereyra and Capoue hardly got into the game.

Still cannot complain!

Graham Poll says it was stonewall penalty, and Atkinson was being far too lazy in keeping up with play. Was in the centre circle apparently?! Refs have a tough job, but not keeping up with play is absolutely appalling. The FA should punish him.

However, in situations like that, why the fark does the lino not have more autonomy? Surely as the closest official he has to be making that call for the ref

Potentially a foul in the lead up to both goals and the red card was just I feel although Alan Shearer felt it was harsh ..

Mind you he spent a lifetime getting away with them!

I wonder if Jenas/Sherwood and co would have said the sly elbow was just an honest attempt to block off Richarlison had it been Prodl on Kane for example?
