Let's hope they don't have a back lash in mind after their hammering at home on Wednesday.

Guess Cleverley will be out but probably not many other changes ?

Take a point now !

Having a depleted midfield is not a recipe for success against them, mcuh less when they're coming off a loss.

Much as I hate it this may be "park the bus" sort of game with big blokes like Prodl, Deeney, etc., trying to win on a set piece.

I'd say a lot hinges on Pereyra, Capoue and Rich. All of them have the capability to hurt Chelsea, and its up to Gracia to get something out of them. Nowhere to hide tonight

Well since our fall from grace starting with the Everton game, it was clear that the defence stopped believing they can defend, the midfield stopped making the runs, and the forwards started snatching at every shot they had, and stopped scoring.
If each department lifts it game by 20% we will look a different team - just hope that Gracia has installed some belief and trained accordingly, and that it's not all hot air ....

Excellent that Sky have got Wayne Rooney in as studio guest - can't imagine anyone else more knowledgeable about us and them.

Karnezis (GK); Mariappa, Prödl, Holebas; Janmaat, Doucouré, Capoue, Zeegelaar; Deulofeu, Deeney (C), Richarlison.

Subs | Bachmann (GK), Mukena, Ndong, Pereyra, Lukebakio, Carrillo,

3 at the back with wing backs or 34-3?

no.... more like this:

1 GK - with a terror-stricken now-I-know-what-those-blokes-at-Dunkirk-felt-like look on his face
2 proper center-halves. Proper for beating people up in the Championship - but proper nonetheless.
3 blokes who are technically wing-backs but really can only be bothered to get forward, 2 on the left, 1 on the right
1 central midfielder who also really can't often be bothered to defend well
1 central midfielder who'll feel he needs to do the job of the other midfielder, as well as the absent left back (he'll likely be correct in that regard)
1 wing forward wondering who the annoying bloke is clipping at is heels who ought to be providing service
1 wing forward wondering why the 2 annoying blokes clipping at his heels can't sort out that one of them at least needs to defend
1 angry centre-forward wishing that Costa was still around for him to have a go at.

1 Manager with a "WTF?" look on his face.

Given our recent ability to throw away leads and not capitalising on our dominance with another goal I feel a 92nd minute, Giroud header and 2-1 defeat coming on... please get a second!

True, but when we conceded the equaliser we turned into a different team and actually attacked rather than trying to hold on for the draw. And all three of those goals in the last 10 were excellent - especially as we seemed to be incapable of getting a shot on target for the previous 80

Nail on head fella. Chelsea aren't playing like a team and were knackered after playing a large part of the game with 10 men and we were able to take advantage. Things won't open up like that too often and in a tight game, you need a striker who can score a goal. You saw Troy's effort from the corner in the first half?

Well that was out of the blue (or yellow)

3 great goals and a very good all round display..

Must admit at 1-1 I thought here we go again as Chelsea were putting the pressure on but we founds life again.

Generally looked very motivated and didn't give Chelsea room to play.

If JG can achieve this much in a week or so , what the hell was going on with Silva ?
Tonight against Chelsea we were a team with the right attitude. COYH bring on West Ham.

Ffs Ceno, cheer up. Take a look at the goals scored by all the other relegation candidates, then look at us. You don't need a striker when your right back is capable of dancing through a defence like Pele

We are now effectively 7 points from Stoke in 3rd from bottom bearing in mind their goal difference. 2 more wins for safety? I reckon 36 points will save you this year COYH

Decent result. But against ten men. So let's just calm down .

Chelsea reminded me of how we looked in Silva's last few games... think there will be a replacement there very soon.

I took a punt on us to win as a result of their issues and it paid off... just wish I took up the 40-1 odds being given out on 138.com

Now we need to use this result to push back on and get a result down at West Ham.

Couple of outstanding bits for me:
- the way we constantly harried and pressured.
- our response to the equaliser, just headed upfield and belted in another.
- thought Capoue was brilliant.

Yes Chelski were awful but after the recent dross, that really was something else.
