Could now with Evra playing field a back four with a group age of 137.

Our boys could have some fun on Saturday....

I feel an away win coming up. Pub A will be secure in Hackney.

Their chips are down lately and so after Monday's performance WH will be pretty wary of us ?

I still can't believe the way that Gracia set us up TBH, I mean Holebas as left CB - but it all worked fine. Even Mapps looked like a 6 foot CB, winning some good ariel battles. I assume that Gracia did his homework and decided that Chelsea weren't about to give us a long/high ball battering - and therefore it wasn't really a game for conventional CBs ?

If the boys can play the same on Saturday I feel we could win this one...... :D

What a difference one game can make ! SO depressing for months and now really excited about the next few games !! Beat WH and we can start to relax a bit and stop looking down the table in fear. PLUS other teams will start to fear us again and that makes a huge difference ...
I also fancy Gray for this game but I assume Gracia will be looking at WH and deciding whether we need a battering ram up top, or all out speed ? With our current attacking 4/5 and against WH we don't need to play so many long balls, and WH are slow at the back - so for me it's Gray this time ...

Very excited. Same players fit so probably the same lineup unless he thinks 442 will work better against this kinda team.

My first away game of the season... I say away game, I’m sitting in the Hammers end with a hammers friend with my cock stuck firmly between my legs for the duration.

No surprise we've conceded as they have some good attacking players. This is where we need a goal scorer up front rather than a potato.

Has Deeney done something personally to you ?

Sure he hasn't been great but you seem to really hate him?!

Hasn't been great? Thats 50 - 100k per week chugging its way around the pitch to absolutely no effect. And then when he scores a penalty thanks to someone else's effort, he gives everyone the finger. Thats our club captain.

Not too bad, just a few of them need a rocket up their arse at half time.

Zabelleta's yellow could prove important

Almost a goal down before kick off when he plays !

Fair point Ceno - wasn't clever behaviour must say and he got lucky not to be punished .

But you don't really seem to criticise anyone else in the same way...

Deeney isn't to blame at the moment. We've got Rich who's forgotten how to play football, and Deulofeu has been anonymous.

I'd say Moyes has done his homework, so it's up to Javi to come up with something

He isn't to blame for us being behind but his presence up front means our chances of scoring a goal are greatly reduced. We're once again relying on Doucoure or perhaps Capoue spanking one in from 20 yards.

They are winning because they have 2 proper goal scorers on the pitch and we have none.

And yet we've scored more goals than them this season....

Don't deny we need a better forward, but don't dismiss the teams obvious ability to score. I'd rather have the whole side scoring than relying on one bloke.... Iggy in our first season back springs to mind

Yes the fact that we have midfielders who can score is a bonus but it makes it much easier for the opposition when they don't have a striker to worry about.

West Ham's record before Moyes took over isn't too significant as they weren't playing the team and formation they are now.

Well it's him or the 18 million cannot control the ball man..

Our kids and Under 23s strikers would be more of a threat..

It is utterly mystifying that we didn't even bring in a loan striker as another option seeing as Okaka seems completely out of the picture.

I guess we've always got Sinclair......

Doesn't matter who is playing up front, if there's no quality coming into the box you won't score.
