Has there been any transfer noise at all regarding Doucoure?
Please GP offer him a juicy deal, make him skipper, and tell him that you will let him go and get a huge deal somewhere else if he wants it in 2 years time....

All gone quiet - big teams probably been put off by his end of season form and most other clubs waiting till the World Cup ends as they always seem to be in for the new stars of the tournament.

As you suggest he probably needs another good season or two to attract the eye of those money men.

Hardly going to get into the Man C or Liverpool side whilst Arsenal and Chelsea are re-building under new management and well he's probably too attacking for Jose at Man U.

Mind you when we win the World Cup the likes of Spurs will be worried about losing Kane.

(Don't actually think we will but can always dream!)

I watched a You-tube video earlier showing several minutes of Doucoure's efforts last year - and he looks phenomenal ! You forget many times he is involved in games, but his feet are so fast and his ball control and passing are top class. With the recent acquisitions plus one new striker and keep Doucoure, and I would be very contented for next season .... :D
