Spurs

So, will Gracia set us up same formation for spurs this weekend or switch to 5 across midfield to keep things tight? I can see him pushing Hughes inside and including another wide player, or maybe start Challobah as an extra cm?
On the other hand we are at home, on form, confident, and spurs won't be on top form in these early stages, maybe stick with 442?

Cannot see any changes really - Chalobah on the bench maybe?

Probably won't change up unless things aren't working. Back 3 might work, but as they've seen it this year more than we've played it, probably not.

At one nil down I felt that at least we were giving them a game, but our luck had run out against a good top 4 side.... Then once again we stepped up a gear and I was stunned at how we played for the last half hour a great team effort. It's almost ridiculous tbh... I am so pleased for Gracia and the team... And don't the boys seem together....

Just seen this stat..

"In 2014/2015, Leicester finished 14th in the Premier League, with 41 points and a record of 11-8-19. The following year they won the league.

Last year, Watford finished 14th with 41 points and a record of 11-8-19..."

Nice thought but the top 4 were all in development phase that season whilst Leicester had an established bunch who knew their roles. I do think we have an early season advantage over many teams that revamp with big signings every 6 months, but as we know they get their act together by November and we start suffering. However I really don't see us having a particular slump this season so it will be great to go into games feeling positive most weeks....

Winning would be a miracle of epic proportions. It would require us not being hit with hardly any injuries at all, the return on form of Deulofeu, both new fullbacks being of premier league standard (because Holebas is well over 30 and cannot maintain this form without rest - same for Janmaat) and likely reinforcements up front - either in the form of Penaranda living up to the hype - or someone new in January - perhaps both.

Europe is a more reasonable hope.

It was more a dream than expectation!

I fully expect Man City and Liverpool to be well clear.

In reality it's a 3rd of the way to safety ...

Your're right we do need to be able to dream a bit more .... I just dare not believe we have turned a massive corner so suddenly - I look at our lofty position and wonder if we can really keep up say a WDWL type of sequence for most of the season, but I am scared of a poor run just around the corner. I guess we will have a better idea in 5 games time ? (The biggest + for me is knowing we still have players like Challobah and Delafeu in the background and so this season if say Douc gets sent off we won't be quite so worried.)
