Unfortunate it seems.

Another decent performance by all accounts .

We had bits of luck in the first four games but not in the last three, but we look a decent Prem team and others are getting wary of us. TBH if we had won say 6 out of seven we might just have gotten a bit cocky and taken a fall, but truth is we look good every game and no team can take us lightly.
I for one don't want seventh this season, we are not ready for European football yet (note effect on Burnley) so I am looking at 8th or 9th place this season, which would be a great season...

We are not as skint as Burnley. If we did get there, the Pozzos would strengthen - and find it easier to do so because of European football.

I guess so, but I would just like to feel we have a couple of steady seasons finishing top 9 before we dipped our toe into Europe...

Burnley actually did fairly well in the European games - it was just they probably expected to beat us and Fulham rather than let in 7 goals in the 2 matches.
