Lots of readers but not many posters

Postby Fiz » Tue Jan 21, 2020 2:35 pm

Most users ever online was 232 on Sun Jan 19, 2020 10:21 am

Sunday morning saw the highest numbers of users online at the same time. I'm not sure why cos you can almost see the tumbleweed blowing across the forum. Posts are being read but not replied to. The read to post ratio is vast.

Why are people not posting like they used to? Is it because the site is not mobile friendly? Everything is so tiny and although you can enlarge to read, it makes it very difficult to post. It's ok on pc and ipad but trying to post this on my phone now I can only see six lines of what I've typed on my screen and I'm losing text at the sides.

Would there be more posters if the forum was mobile friendly?

(I originally posted this in Site Comments but no one read it)

Can't comment on the phone thing as I use a laptop.
Those visits are all definitely people and not bots / search engines? Does seem there's very few of us that post regularly.

My phone is fine but oddly not so good in horizontal view..
I think this site puts people off as there's too much sensible discussion by proper fans and no vitriol for trolls to get stuck into.
Maybe we should start slagging each other off... NOT...

Least on here its not all doom and gloom.

One defeat and its Pearson got it wrong and the players are rubbish..

I know we did lose but you can bet if the game had ended 1-1 it would have been "good point, well paid"

Fine margins and all that.

Feels like a roller-coaster... 8 weeks ok I had fought my demons and had accepted relegation, already trying to figure out which players would be suited to the championship.
Then we start winning and go on a fantastic run which gets me thinking we will be OK after all. Then on Tuesday we fall flat and we have some tough games coming up. I don't think 36 points will be enough this season as teams around us keep winning, so I reckon 41 points might be needed this time around to beat the 18th team.?
We really do need some luck now on injuries, we've had loads and Sarr will be missed, so please no more nasty injuries please...!

Looks like Pedro and Welbeck might play tonight as they were training..

Worth the risk ?
