Us in the media..

It is amazing how different types of papers get totally opposing headlines out of a set of quotes:

The tabloids really do stir up trouble.

Kabasele said the same - he was happy to train but wary of what might happen if we start too early.

Mail soon had a headline saying some like "Kabasele doesn't want season to start"

I'd almost say its better for us not to say anything.

Just wait a bit longer.... Bournemouth now have one player tested positive, let's see what happens when say West ham and Brighton get a couple... They'll soon be shouting, and we haven't even got to the "contact training" yet....

Or some of the big teams and names on a greater level.

I think Deeney was hoping more would speak out but they didn't.

Contact training now approved, this will be a key time for the next couple of weeks.
I'm starting to think that it's the legal bods that are behind the Prem's ongoing stance to the season.? Their thinking is that if they don't do everything possible to complete the season, then they'll come a cropper from every angle, but if they are clearly pulling out all the stops and the season still eventually gets cancelled by fifa/uefa/UK government, then its clearly a force majeure that was out of their hands, and so there may be less chance of legal actions against them.

Well it needs 14 teams to agree either way .

And most of them have something to play for so will want the season to carry on.

They will have to play a lot of games in a short period so will teams like that ?

Of course as you say Sky and the lawyers will have their say ..

Yes - good point.

They want to be see at least trying rather than just "giving up"....

Pearson and Deeney are just pretty out spoken unlike anyone else - Pearson seem to be having a pop at the Government more than anything and Deeney has made a personal decision.

Like I say he probably expected loads to follow...but they didn't and now even one of our own is saying "It's fine to play and I cannot wait" in Tom Cleverley and Kabasele was happy to be back.

Strange that the tests of teams at the bottom 6 have come out but not anyone else.

Is that a media leak trying to say its only the teams in relegation trouble having issues making look like they are forcing the issue?

Will probably make us even les popular with the FA and Premier league!
