How's the positivity on avoiding the R word....

Postby dorsetway » Wed Jun 10, 2020 5:08 pm

Let's get some positivity going ready for the 19th and onwards..!!!
We "usually" start seasons well and with NP in charge I think the boys will be up for it. We just need to be a bit more up for it than a few teams around us.!!
Will NP stick to his main bunch that played the last few games, or will he shake it up a bit.? Deeney won't be as fit as the others but his tenacity will be needed on and off the pitch....
Which players are going to come to the top in the coming weeks..... I say Foster, Sarr, Capoue, Douc, and Kabs have to come out flying.... And I expect to see hughes on his game.
I trust NP to get them up for this....

It's a complete lottery now. I do wonder what Burnley and Soton have to play for, might be in our favour.

I have been pondering the same. Mid table safe teams have zero to play for and if we have that little bit extra steel and commitment those games could be good for us. OK so they might be relaxed and play without fear but this season finish will literally be like 9 Cup finals for the bottom five...!!

And Liverpool when they win the title.

You can bet once that is all confirmed they will field fringe players who might get games in order to get the medal.

Also Man City who will be 2nd and probably have an eye on the European football they might play.

Had Kabasele on 5live - he said it was strange to have no fans and also said the sudden noise pumped in was actually a bit off putting in a way as they knew it wasn't natural!

Said they were nearly read to go but probably do need another week.

OK so now it's all set for Leicester. We've got a decent bunch but my general feeling is that NP needs to work out why we were able to smash Liverpool one week and then roll over against Palace the next. OK so we seem to be best on the counter but if we can fix that issue we should do OK..
Edit... Crikey I had completely forgotten about Welbeck..!! Might be his chance to shine now..?
